Bershar gives Mori the teleport bracelets.
"They are not pretty enough," says Bershar, "and they just didn't go with my outfit."

Against the advice of Cally, Vila shows his normal intelligence and beams up Mori
(and some troopers, but they are off camera).

With the Liberator fighting off eight (this is the ship that can only handle three, remember) Federation pursuit ships, Mori takes control and calls off the attack.

With a bit of clever word play, Avon tells Zen to resume the attack, and the Liberator proceeds to do better on its own than it ever manages with Avon in charge.

Mori panics and takes Cally and Orac to the planet.

Meanwhile, Hower finds out that Bershar has been a naughty boy and kills him.
"I thought I'd just be grounded," he says with his dying breath.

Hower explains to Tarrant that they have a nuclear bomb ready to go off if anyone attacks. "Hippies just aren't what they used to be," thinks Tarrant.
