A Beer & Blake’s 7 at Cult TV presentation of the classic B7 episode
Stardrive
(inspired as ever by Emma Peel).

With special guest appearances of
Orac and the Sixth Doctor as themselves.
Starring Shaun the Sheep as Vila and Rover the Dog as Avon.

Our heroic crew find a new game to keep them occupied –
using Scorpio to play tag with asteroids.

They are interrupted by watching three Federation ships mysteriously
explode on screen. From left to right, the toothy Tarrant, the dark Avon,
Vila the sheep, Soolin and Dayna (the two little bears).

Orac explains that the ship was destroyed by a Spacerat using a
new kind of power system called a photonic drive invented by Dr Plaxton.

Let’s nick it says Avon; Scorpio could do with a refit.

Avon sends Vila and Dayna down to be captured so he can nick the stardrive.
Don’t worry, he says, you can trust me, you’ll be safe.

In an extraordinary special effects sequence given the budget, Scorpio
lands on the desert-like planet. Sand was supplied by Horizon
(very good of them to have their flyers printed on light brown paper).

Soolin, Tarrant and Avon break into the Spacerat’s headquarters…

…where the spacerats are waiting. Atlan is in the middle.

But the crew overcome them and steal the drive along with Dr Plaxton.

The crew make their escape in a buggy…
