About
Wobblevision/Episode Guide
But Blake pauses to help a struggling garage mechanic.
"How did you get into DSV 2?" asks the Alta.
"We found it in a layby - we thought joyriders had abandoned
it," says Blake.
"The System has no record of your V5 registration... tax disc...
congestion charge card..."
Avon and Jenna are banged up in a cell.
"If you had half my brainpower," he says,
"you'd have noticed something familiar about this station's
address."
"And if Vila had half my brainpower, he wouldn't unlock
this door to
rescue us just when I was planning to beat up the next warden who
opened it."
"On the other hand, Gan knows where his towel is when it
comes beating
up wardens, so let's leave him to it."
The mechanic pulls Blake into the
garage bodyshop and explains
that the System totally governs traffic
on three worlds.
"Now there's no road rage, no fuel shortages - "
"And no pedestrianism!"
The mechanic seizes Alta 2's compressed air gun and blows his
gasket.
But a traffic warden finally gives the mechanic a ticket as the
crew hop
aboard the Liberator.
The wardens are determined to book the crew, too, but Cally teleports
them back to the station...

...and they find themselves blowing up their own tank and sending
Alta 1
to the scrapyard.

"If you had half my brainpower," says Avon,
"you'd realise we're bound to die here anyway."
But when they look out of the window,
it's another DSV that's pranged.
"If you had half my brainpower," says Orac, "you'd
have checked the
registration plate, which was clearly visible in my projection."
"Get back to your position," Blake tells Avon.
"You're a lousy back seat driver."
