About
Wobblevision/Episode Guide
Tarrant and Dayna weigh in, and It's a Knockout!
But it's an Automatic Lock In when they accept Burbling Belkov as
their
gorgeous guide to the Feldon Crystal Maze.
With the rest of the team out of the game, it's time to play the
Joker.
Vila downs a guard as his starter for ten...
....asks Gambit for "one from the top and five from anywhere
else"
(funny, I thought Countdown was second season)...
....and cracks the maze to release the others. Didn't he do well?
But Servalan tells Gerren "You
are the weakest link! Goodbye!"
This time, Avon's worked out a cunning game plan.
Once they're on the Orbiter, Orac will signal the right
answers by a pre-arranged system of coughs.
"OK, so Soolin tackles the shooting gallery, Tarrant plays
the flight
simulator, Vila opens the door to the next level, and I do something
really clever about black holes (keep coughing, Orac). And we're
nearly
at the end of the episode, so we all do it together... NOW!"
Belkov has planned an escape route.
"I've been offered a show on another channel," he tells
Gambit,
"on condition we make sure this one can never be revived.
As soon as I'm out of the studio, blow up the set!"
"Up yours," says Gambit. "I've thought of a much
better finale..."
"...up a bit... right a bit... and I fire you into the black
hole!"
"At least I won the Feldon Crystals!"
boasts Vila.
"You dummy!" wails Avon. "You forgot the CUDDLY TOY!!!"
