What: Drinks, chat, food and more drink
When: From 7:00 pm on first Friday in every month
Where: The Shakespeare's Head, Holborn

We are a group of London-based fans of Blake's 7 in particular and Sci-fi in general, who meet up in London once a month to talk about our favourite shows, socialise and have a drink or three with fellow fans.

We meet on the first Friday in every month (except January, when we meet on the second Friday) at the Shakespeare's Head in Holborn.

The Shakespeare's Head is located on 64-68 Kingsway (next door to AfricaHouse), only 15 yards down from Holborn tube station (Turn left towards Aldwych) (Central and Piccadilly Lines).

It's a very large Weatherspoons pub, which means drinks are inexpensive and it serves a good variety of reasonably priced food until 10:00 pm.

We meet up from 7:00pm and the first one to arrive grabs one of the big round tables at the back in or near the non smoking section.

We're a friendly, non-cliquey bunch who welcome newcomers with enthusiasm, so please feel free to come along and join in. We tend to have about 10-20 people coming along on average, with 40+ members in total. If you're not sure how to find us in the sometimes busy pub, head for the round tables towards the back - John and I are easily recognisable from my avatar pic in the discussion forum.

We also try to get together for a summer and a winter event - in 2003, the summer event will be a picnic at the secret Residence One location on 17th August (full details on the discussion forum).

I will post reminders/confirmations of dates and venues on the discussion group board before each event.
