Tom Baker was the first I saw. Pretty sure Talons of Weng Chiang was the first story I ever saw. That rat scared the crap out of me.
I saw quite a lot of Jon Pertwee close to that time as well when ABC chose to repeat it. |

The episode I can still remember as scaring me the most ever ever ever ever (I actually did hide behind the sofa) was the Daemons. It actually gave me nightmares I can still vaguely remember to this day! _________________

Who was your first doctor? And who is the first doctor you clearly remember stories for?
My first Dr Who was William Hartnell and I remember stuff with Ian and Barbara and VAGUELY remember Stephen...but not proper stories
Jon Pertwee was the first doctor I properly remember stories for. |
I remember Dr.Who when it first aired here way back in the early or mid 60's...Showing my age here......
Anyways it starred William Hartnell with the following episodes featuring the Kaleds..Now there's a thort who remembers the Kaleds from the dead planet Skaro?
I do ..anyone else?
