Here's my article on the news that Steve Pacey is going to reprise his role as Tarrant for the Big Finish Blake's 7 audio plays:

"The problem with Tarrant", hehe

I've always quite liked the way things worked out with the shift in Tarrant's character in season 3... He started off seeming very confident (presumably as a result of the scripts written for an older actor playing a seasoned veteran Space Captain), but this gave way to looking like arrogance and finally incompetence when Avon gave him free reign to bugger things up in "The Harvest of Kairos"

I started off season 3 thinking "oh gawd, this character is just a direct replacement for Blake " but then later, ohhh hang on , they did something different with him...

Agree with you there Futsie...whether or not you like the character is open for debate, but at least they did make an effort to dfferentiate Tarrant from Blake...

Agreed, I liked the way Tarrant developed. The final episode was a good one for his character, other than being killed of course, his loyalty to the crew was quite touching.
