Only one word, I feel, is accurate in that description.

The Way Back

Cygnus Alpha

Re-released as audio books 2nd April 2009.

Now these are "classics" we can believe in, my friends.

I do have a soft spot for the novelisations. The first one is quite interesting because it seems to have been written before the design of things like the teleport had been decided.

I think actually the Beeb are quite limited in what they can do with B7 merchandise, since that other shower obtained the rights. I don't think they'd be allowed to produce audio books of any new stories, just the old novels they retained the rights for.

What books do you all have?

I have the first three original novels by Trebor Hoyle - Blake's 7, Project Avalon and Scorpio Attack. I used to have Afterlife but I recycled it (yes I took it to a second hand shop, I don't see why I should be the only one to suffer).

I was at a convention once and Tony Attwood (author of Afterlife) was (apparently - I missed it) was on stage and he was not allowed off until he promised not to write another one.

I borrowed Paul Darrow's "Avon - A Terrible Aspect" and just couldn't get through it, so it was handed back half read.

Oh yes, also have the Programme Guide - well most of it was right I guess.

You mean "Avon - A Terrible Book"? It's worth it, just to see Paul Darrow's take on a Federation Pre Way Back. An oddity, but not cannon.

2 Hoyles, Blakes 7 and Project Avalon, and the Attwood Guide.

Thought I might have Scorpio Attack, but can't find it- I've doubled up on my book shelves so it is really difficult to see what is on the back row of books.

I snapped up any B7 stuff when I saw it while the series was first airing. How useful the internet and its endless information would have been! Probably got some articles in ancient Starburst magazines up in the attic (quite a few are single digit issue numbers.)

All three Hoyle's - Blake's 7, Project Avalon and Scorpio Attack, plus Afterlife and the Programme guide.

Did any of you keep the Blake's Seven magazines where they kept writing Jenna and Cally up the wrong way round.

No..?? Who was writing those? Or more importantly, who was editing them? Or rather NOT editing them...

Okay I just did a double check - it was Starburst that got Jenna and Cally the wrong way round (a little time travel involved in that investigation) sorry about the misinformation.

Yeah my sister and I almost wrote to them and told them how bad their article was (I thnik they got other facts about the show wrong), but we didn't in the end..........but apparantly a lot of other fans did

The first 3 paper back novels - including the both cover version of Project Avalon. { Pursuit ships cover & Blake cover) And the hard back copy of the 1st novel

Scorpio Attack - Handback & papr back

Afterlife - paper back only

Attwood's Programme Guide - Hardback & paper back

Avon - A Terrible novel - Hard back

And if these count - all 3 B7 annuals

I keep on meaning to buy Paul Darrow's " You're him aren't you?" - but after his 'terrible novel' I cant bring myself to
