The Green Death ep 3. Considering the latest Doctor Who Companion hanky panky, this was also ahead of it's time! _________________ Last Watched: Deliverance 3.09.2019 |

Delta and the Bannermen. It has become one of my favourites. I was trying to remember what the twist was at the end of episode 3 when it just ended Poor Ray!

I like Battlefield.
Meanwhile I've been watching 2 episode per night of 'The Dalek Invasion of Earth' for the last couple of evenings. So now I'm going to watch the final two. |

So do I actually. Its one of two dvd's that Ive got from Sylvester McCoy's Doctor Who . The other dvd I've got is " Curse of Fenric" .- I'm hoping to add to these later this year.
What I'd give to have my copy signed Ben Aaronvitch _________________ Wisdom must be gathered, it can not be given

Genesis of The Dalek's - the bits with Davros and the Doctor when the Doctor flicks that switch and when Davros holds up that phial, and when Davros makes his speach and then gets a little help from his metal 'friends'! _________________ Last Watched: Deliverance 3.09.2019 |

Watched The Keys of Marinus and The Rescue over the weekend. Bits of the former are hilariously inept, especially the Guardians in the ice caves which come across as escapees from Monty Python.
I also had the misfortune to see some of Utopia and The Sound of Drums. Awful, awful episodes. _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

Watched Tomb of the Cybermen for the first time in 20 years a few nights back. I'd forgotten just how poor this alleged "classic" really is. Yes, bits of it are highly impressive - the tombs themselves are superb and the design is good - but it's soooo slow, even for a four parter, the acting is terrible or inept from much of the supporting cast.
Having watched The Krotons a few weeks back, I know which one I prefer and it isn't the deep frozen Telosians. _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

hmm yes. Having watched it again myself I came to a similar conclusion. Plus the basic premise is flawed: why would the Cybermen needed to hibernate anyway? |

Had the misfortune to catch the last 15 minutes of Journey's End on one of the cable channels yesterday. What a crock of turds that was. 15 minutes of my life wasted.
Later, on Virgin catch up, The Caves of Androzani. Haven't seen this for years and by god, it's good! _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

Virgin have a load of old Who in their TV on Demand at the mo, one from each Doctor, so I've been working my way through:
The Time Meddler, I gave up on The Seeds of Death after two minutes as the print used was abysmal, 4 episodes of Planet of the Daleks, City of Death and Vengeance on Varos.
DVD-wise, The Mind Robber was last week and last night I subjected myself to The Web Planet. May have to go for something a bit lighter tonight, possibly a Davison. _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

Ended up watching two episodes of Airwolf instead - Day of Jeopardy, one of the few good season 3 episodes, and Discovery, also from season 3 but nowhere near as good, although John Vernon always makes a suitable suave villain. _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |
