This one's a bit of a cheek - saying its B7. I mean it's not even as if it is Scott as Carnell! _________________

I got Afterlife recently and, out bid the current highest bidder for it - so it doesn't surprise me how much some will pay for certain "B7" items. (I paid just over £8 including postage for it!!!) _________________ "Valentine" ( 'S Brother)

Afterlife is set after the end of Gauda Prime, and is not very good. There are also some novelisations of episodes available. Plus there is Paul Darrow's book "Avon: A Terrible Aspect" set before The Way Back.
If you want to read some B7 stories, however, the best fiction is written by the fans. There is some good stuff on the Hermit site:

Thanks man. For some reason though Fan Fiction does'nt intrest me. I think it should be left to the real writers.
I am gonna try and get hold of that book for sure, but i'll wait until i see one thats a little cheaper, ya know? _________________ COME AND AV A GO IF YOU THINK YOUR FRICKING ARD ENOUGTH!!!

Some of the fan fiction is much better than the so-called real writers _________________ --

fair enough. However i will still refuse to read it. We will have to agree to disagree on this one.

Some fan fiction that I have had the misfortune to read was sheer cr*p , and an insult to B7 . Some of that so - called adult fiction is a disgrace , and it is one thing that I hope B7E WILL GET AROUND TO BANNING ! . |

^ YEAH? i was'nt gonna waste my time anyway. Even if its good it just lacks any authenticy and may pervert my perception of the offical crew and plots/storys. Leave it to the pros hey? _________________ COME AND AV A GO IF YOU THINK YOUR FRICKING ARD ENOUGTH!!!

Problem is , some of those hacks think they are better than the real pros , they all love giving each other special awards for so - called best fiction etc ! . |

Folks writing Fan Fiction be it, Blake's 7 or, any other SF-related stories are, just as valid as, the so-called professional writers.
Some of which, probably, started out by writing fan fiction in Fan magazines, publications, etc. And, progressed to be able to be lucky enough to do it for a living.
So, what's the difference??? None as, far as I can see.
You get badly written books just as much as, badly written fan fiction produced by, Fans for other Fans!!!
By the way, BEAST don't knock something that you haven't read - that's hardly fair criticism of something, is it?" |

Some of them are better than the pros. There is very little fan fiction that is as bad as Afterlife, for example. _________________ --
