And let's hear it for Button who, had there been more overtaking opportunities at Monaco, could have taken the lead in the last two/three laps. _________________

Agreed. Surely his first win can't be too far away now... _________________

Did we get any explanation for why Barichello was so far off the pace? _________________ --

The blurb in the Metro says it will cover Nottingham, which is not surprising. I rang up the editor a couple of weeks ago and said, look I'm one of your loyal readers and I'm moving to Nottingham, so pull your finger out and launch an edition. He said: "No problem Steve, will do." So there you have it. _________________ --

It was close, but Button only just caught him up on the last lap and even at good overtaking circuits drivers normally take a couple fo laps to create a strategy to overtake. that said, if it hadn't have been for the back marker, I'm sure Button would have had a go round the final couple of bends, and then anything could have happened, including them both going off and giving the race to Barrichello. They would both though have still finished in the points. _________________ --

My diary says the next Grand prix is the Euro GP in Germany this coming weekend. Is that right? It seems a short gap. _________________ --
