It starts about 1pm U.K time, so on the east coast where you are I dunno what the time difference is!
However I do know of an actor on the west coast who never misses a race & has to stay up all night! (Malcolm McDowell) |

Just got this from the Renault newsletter, that is so cool!
The mission of RenaultF1.com is to constantly bring you closer to the only French F1 team, and to show you what life is like on the inside of this sporting competition. Now, we are going one step further and giving you the keys to the heart of the team – think of it like F1's Holy Grail!
F1 is a science of calculations, data, figures and curves. This science is called telemetry. Never before have fans had access to this data. Now, thanks to RenaultF1.com, you can exclusively follow in real time all the data from the track. Follow the drivers, interpret their style, watch the gaps between them, analyse speed curves and understand the team's tactical choices on the pitwall. F1 will have no more secrets for you!
Choose between live telemetry from Jarno's and Fernando's car, and you will experience the intensity of the race through the information appearing on the screen. Or, select Engineer Mode, and you will find yourself on the pit-wall, to better understand their strategic choices.
In just a few clicks, you will experience practice, qualifying and the race in a completely new way. Come to RenaultF1.com for a unique experience. Feel It!
The experience begins on Saturday at 09:00 European time, with the free practice session from the Monaco Grand Prix. |

I had the telemetry working for Alonso and Trulli, but there was a real time lag compared with what was on telly. Two good runs for the Renault tema though, means Schuey won't be on the front row. Shame Sato blew his lap. _________________ --

Trulli gets pole and Button joins him on the front row. A pity Raikonnen couldn't have got a little bit more and knocked Schuey off the second row. Alonso also on the second row, so a good day for Renault. _________________ --

Ralph Schuey must be gutted. He would have been second on the grid but for his ten position penalty. _________________ --

A good start for Sato, then his engine problems held up Schuey. Now all in a mess after the crash. _________________ --

The safety car means Schuey will catch up the time he lost. That's teh second time Sato has had an engine blow on him this year. Let's home the same problem doesn't affect Button's car. _________________ --

Some very quick laps from Schuey combined with Button being held up by De Matta lets Schuey leap frog Button into third place during the pit stops. _________________ --

Spectacular crash by Alonso, but Trulli gets his second pitstop in with the safety car. Schuey in front, but he will have a pitstop to make. _________________ --

Wow, a very odd crash by Schuey, and that ends his run of wins. _________________ --
