It is a toughy because of the overtaking problems. That makes final practice so important because a good grid position can set you up for the race. One mistake in qualifying and you can already be kissing a podium goodbye. So good in the sense that it makes the race wide open, bad in that it makes the race itself a little dull. _________________ --

My betting tip for qualifying this week is "Jarno Trulli", in previous years, in very bad cars he has qualified in the top 3 at Monaco. This year, in a half decent car he stands a good chance of pole. |

I agree that Trulli has a half decent chance at getting pole. Monaco can throw up some very unusual grid positions, and also results. Remember a few years ago when only about 5 cars finished? Still, reliability seems pretty good for most cars at the moment (except Raikkonen's!). _________________

It is a good opportunity for Button too. We have seen how fast he can be in practice and he can hold his own in the race. If he can get himself on the front row, he has an excellent chance of getting his first win. _________________ --

The BAR test driver in question is a Brit called Anthony Davidson. According to today's Metro, he is a hot tip to get a race seat with a team next year. _________________ --
