Some actors choose themselves to distance themselves from roles with which they have become associated. Several members of the B7 cast have done this - Jossette being the most notable - but it occurs across genres. So what's your opion of it? _________________ Everything in life is only for now. |

I don't really care as such but, if a particular role has made you famous and rich, you should acknowledge it to an extent. _________________ "Blak" sheep of the B7 forum family! |

The worst example of this i`ve heard about is MARTIN SHAW who seems to flatly refuse to even acknowledge or be prepared to meet people or sign anything to do with THE PROFESSIONALS Now, to an extent I can understand it and the way he feels about the programme being a piece of dated TV with some quite racist overtones in it but he did do it for a few years and basked in its glory at the time! _________________ Class of `82 |

Maybe to some but I know of a story where he left a theatre out of the back door to avoid meeting a Professionals fan waiting for him at the front to sign a special piece - hardly an example of being labelled COOL! _________________ Class of `82 |

"MARTIN SHAW" is the only actor I know who will sign autographs (play programmes but they have to go to his dressing room and, then be sent back down - which makes it awkward when you are trying to get other cast members to sign your programme.) _________________ "Valentine" ( 'S Brother)
