I think I will too, but what I dont understand is why are they starting with Henry VIII and not Henry VII? Back in the 1970's they did a whole series, "The Shadow of the Tower" on just Henry VII.

I also wish they'd repeat "The Devils Crown" which covered the early Plantagenets, Henry II - John (ie 1153 - 1216).

Last night, the first episode of Ulysses 31, trippy mother that it is. A documentary about Hitler's serach for the holy grail, which was thankfully devoid of reconstructions. & Then Hell In The Pacific with Lee Marvin & Toshiro Mifune, followed by a John Boorman directed personal portrait of Marvin. A great night of TV!!

I watched a new TV programme titled 'Moonlight'on Friday night
It is a remake of Forever Knight an oldie that I used to enjoy
starred Welsh actor Geraint Wyn Davies...
Usually I never enjoy remakes because they are either warmed
over crap imitators or fxed to death...
Moonlight WAS worth watching and for the most part stayed true
to the original...
Nick Knight is now Nick St. John and a private detective instead
of local police. He also gets his blood donations from a friend at
the morgue type A Yes Smiley
He also checks out the recently departed at said morgue to sniff
out vampire victims...
The first programme was excellent including a doe eyed love
interest who resembles Natalie from Forever Knight...

Cronenberg's Scanners.

Cinematic sci-fi perfection, probably my favorite from him.

I remember the series "The Shadow Of The Tower" starring IF memory serves correctly "James Maxwell" as, Henry VII (and, "David Collings" was in it in a minor role). Great actor who, seems to have been in just about everything over the years.
