I've just received an email from the BBC about a new programme being made for BBC4 to be screened in October.
Quote: |
BBC Scotland are making a series of 6 Sci-fi programmes for BBC Four- to be shown in October as part of a huge Sci-Fi season. The six shows are Blake's 7, Adam Adamant Lives, The Tripods, Doomwatch, Star Cops, Survivors. We will also show one episode of each after each documentary.
The series will be called "The Cult Of....."
Contributors so far for the Blake's 7 programme include Chris Boucher, Pennant Roberts, Gareth Thomas, Paul Darrow, Jacqueline Pearce, Orac and Zen, Sally Knyvette, Michael Keating, Peter Tuddenham.Mat Irvine, Kim Newman and Steve O'Brien
Includes Blake's Junction 7 and new unseen outtakes and bloopers.

Sounds good to me _________________ Louise and Simon's Blakes7 Fan Site

I figured that some people might also be pleased about the screening of Blakes Junction 7, as its only been screened at conventions and festivals previously. _________________ Louise and Simon's Blakes7 Fan Site

I'm not so much interested in that, more the original series stuff. I like B7, not a pee take of B7...insert B7E comment here... |

Thats cool, I just remember some folks asking about it a lot at one time, thats all.
I wonder if the unseen bloopers are the other ones that never made it to the DVDs ? Or whether these really are ones that the BBC have found. _________________ Louise and Simon's Blakes7 Fan Site

Think it must be legit because on Paul Darrow's official website they have said that he has been interviewed for this - and presumably they should know! _________________

The email that I received came from a BBC server.
It really goes with the way that BBC4 works : They tend to have themes for their programmes.
The other week, they had IClaudius and Up Pompeii on every night. And a few months ago, they had a 60's week. _________________ Louise and Simon's Blakes7 Fan Site
