Orbit

In the hope of getting a new egg timer, Avon and Vila drive the
shuttle down to Malodar to meet Eggrorian.



“This shuttle is really cosy,” says Vila (left).
“It’s a good job I can trust you.”
“You know you’re safe with me,” leers Avon.



Avon and Vila meet Eggrorian, an egg-head, and his sidekick Pinder,
but fail to spot Servalan hatching a plot behind the pillar.



Eggrorian lets Avon play with his new egg timer.
“Ooo, er,” says Avon.



Avon and Vila rush back to Scorpio to tell the crew the good news.



Eggsasperated, Avon tries to convince the rest of the team (Tarrant slumped in chair, Dayna looking bored, Soolin stroking her beard and Vila you’ve already met) what a super egg timer he’s found, and all it will cost them is Orac. The crew think he’s cracked.



Tarrant decides to ask Orac about Eggrorian and Pinder, and discovers Pinder is a lot younger than he looks. Must be a bad diet, too much cholesterol, he thinks.



Back on the planet:
“Are you sure that’s Orac?” asks Eggrorian.
“Of course,” says Avon. “You know you can trust me.”

On the way back in the shuttle, Avon tells Vila that he has given Eggrorian the fake Orac. Vila is shocked.
“And I thought you were so trustworthy,” he says.
“You ain’t seen nothing yet,” thinks Avon.
