What is your most favourite (apart from B7 of course) Sci fi TV series of all time?

Probably have to go with Doctor Who too, but there are other contenders, Star Cops, UFO, Star Trek, Space:1999, to name a few.

You're very organised aren't you?

I;m glad someone else likes Star Cops - so cut short in its prime, would have loved to have seen what happened next. Kenzy left in charge.....scarey!!!!

I'm a massive fan of Star Cops, I even own a couple of original costumes from the show (a moonbase technicians uniform and a waistcoat from a stewardess). I did some of the interior illustrations to Chris Bouchers novelisations too.

Apart from B7, I would say either Survivors (the original 70s series), or Babylon 5

It did have a special feel to it didn't it?

I thought I had the Star Cops novelisations, but they dn't seem to be on my shelves. Its one of those things that I can remember seeing but don't remember reading, so maybe I never had them.... *shrug*

Yep, it did. Great shame that they never made another season of 'Star Cops'. The novelisations were produced as fanzines, one of the rare times when the copyright holder actually wrote the zine!

Oh really!? that's probably why I never saw it then - I feel better now.

Do you think they'd have moved Star Cops to Mars, Stayed at the Moon without Nathan on switched between both?

Good question, I can't really see how they could've kept that up indefinitely, but I suppose Spring could've returned from Mars at some point. It does seem unlikely that the Mars base could've had enough crime to keep the ISPF commander all that busy! There was a lot of potential to bring in more characters I suppose, as more and more people came out to the 'high frontier'.

To get this thread back on track, if think one of my favourite shows from ealier on is Space 1999 - I would never leave Alan in charge of an Eagle, he'd only crash it!
