Another series that was cut short in its prime. I must say, as much as I like Tim Curry, it got so much better once he'd gone and the plot started moving.

Colonists go to this 'new earth' type planet, crash land and find out that they are not the first people there after all - it had been a prison planet.

There are also these native creatures there that can reach you in the dreaming state.....

course much more complicated than that.

And thanks for boosting the thread guys

What's the problem with that? All region DVD players are fairly cheap these days.

I recorded all of Earth 2 - Eden Advance when it was on originally. Did like the two women in it especially.

Do you remember the GEO LOCK - where they made a 'claim' by geo locking the earth for later miners to come and get the minerals.

Are they?
I didn't know that - I thought region 2 players were only available in region 2 etc... I know that with one of the media players I have on my PC, it lets you change the region but only a set number of times (can't remember how many but it's less than 10) and after that it will stick and not let you change it further... So I assumed that region codes were made hard to get around...

I'm not sure if I'd wanna invest in a new DVD player even if it's only 20 quid or so, just to watch one programme tho... Hmmm, I suppose I should find out if the one I've got can be set to multi-region first anyway...

Apparently there are sites on the net that show you how to make your DVD player region free if they're not. So you should be able to unlock yours if its not already. I just asked my local electrical shop to unlock mine when I bought it.
