Vote as usual!

There are many OTHER American programs never mentioned
here for the reason they were never shown in the UK or other
European countries in the first place!
I have a friend from Denmark who cannot believe all of the shows
never shown in her country and she is an actress...
The poll is not really in depth enough to post on

There are also many other American programmes never mentioned here that were shown.

I feel Iíve been off-topic lately with all the ĎBring Backí programme (which Iíve got over now) references. So hereís a few of the US shows I remember seeing on UK TV in the 60ís and the 70ís, which I thought might be of interest in giving an idea of the US shows being shown then. I was abroad in the 80ís so canít comment and since returning havenít watched much TV drama apart from the new Doctor Who. My parents watched Perry Mason, Ironside, Peyton Place and I Love Lucy. I saw lots of cartoons like The Flintstones, Astronut and Top Cat and then Casey Jones, The Phil Silvers Show, The Munsters, Bewitched, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Man From Uncle, The High Chaparral, Star Trek, Alias Smith And Jones, Kojak, The Bionic Man\Woman, Dallas, The Dukes Of Hazard. Iím sure there were loads more, maybe game shows or detective series and I wish Saturday Night Live could have been seen here around the time Bill Murray hosted.

As to the more recent shows on the poll list, I only know that The West Wing has a chubby guy and is about government. Iíve seen trailers for others like ĎSex and The Cityí and ĎLostí. Isnít Lost quite popular?

Still remember Dallas as the most dramatic though - JRís face fills the screen and he drops another bombshell!

Yes Lost is very popular but I have never watched it nor have I watched Heros
which is tremendously popular...
I just have a very busy schedule so no reflection on the programs or fans.
Last few times I tried to watch something after 8 or 9p I fall asleep Yes Smiley

BC's poll made me feel the same frustration I feel when I watch TV award
programs. There are so many good programs actors etc lumped into one
small catagory group just not fair...

Watched the Fame Movie. I like the TV show, Series 1 that I've seen, better. I found a BBC Fame TV show Annual from 1983 in a charity shop. It says Lee Curreri (Bruno), Gene Anthony(Leroy) and Albert Hague(Shorofsky) were the TV actors that were also in the film. That's right, but they forgot Debbie Allen is also in the film. It must have been a bit tough, I felt, for anybody in the film who auditioned but didn't get chosen for the TV series. Series One of Fame is great!
