Ditto. ETA 12noon and I'll be leaving about 7.45.
I vote for Whitelocks, bearing in mind the number of real ale drinkers here and it was popular last time. _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

I vote for Bar 36, Browns, or the Elephant, or somewhere along the canal, but Leeds is such a great city that I'm sure we'll be happy wherever. |

Unfortunately, due to my current situation I doubt that I can make it to "LEEDS" (regardless of the date chosen) or, any future FORUM get-together for, some considerable time!!! _________________ "Valentine" ( 'S Brother)

Somewhere with real ale would be preferable for me. _________________ --

Agreed! Though I gather there are plenty of good pubs in Leeds so we should not have too much difficulty. |

Whitelocks has a beer garden (actually a few benches and tables in the side street) and I'm sure kids are allowed there. Positive there were on the few occasions I've been there.
Great pub, full of atmosphere and character. The food is first rate too. _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

AS TJ says we have to choose a pub that will allow children in as well , remember Josh is only 11, after all he is one of us too - all for one and all that! |

The grand theatre is fairly close. I saw Doctor Who - The Ultimate Adventure there! _________________ Everything in life is only for now. |

So, we'll take the Whitelocks as our initial watering hole, then we can visit the Children of Auron location and after that head somewhere else?
There are several good SF shops in Leeds by the way, for those wishing to buy a few souviners. Oh, and the canal runs quite close to the train station, if you fancy a waterside walk! _________________ Everything in life is only for now. |
