I've bought the first two cds.

They are 'ok' but not brilliant. Having really enjoyed other audio plays such as I, Davros these were found wanting.

The new actors were hard to get used to but I like Daniella Nardini as Servilan, Craig Kelly as Travis and Dean Harris as Vila, the others are okay except Colin Salmon as Avon who is completely wooden. To quote Cats Paul Darrow is Avon is Paul Darrow.

The dialogue lacks the wit and edge of the original series. I'm also not sure why they did away with teleporting, perhaps that comes in later?

The third cd is on the way...

Pedro you tried to be fair minded and that is to your credit as
a good person...
I mean even if it was something brilliant that we could all get
excited about after all these years I might have been involved
But it fell far short of the finish line...
The original was a one off as were the B7 actors...
They took us for a helluva ride and I thank them from my heart
for that awesome ride...

You're not wrong!

I've just started watching from the beginning again and it never fails to excite and entertain. They just don't write scripts like that anymore.

I agree.
I was watching VftP yesterday and I kept thinkng I don't remember this bit and that bit. It hasn't become old or dated like star trek its gone vintage, as would say like a fine wine

I have ceased listening to them. I started to download them but thought why waste my time. They seem to be getting worse as time goes on - boredom has set in. I have deleted the 30 or so episodes I had.

It's a shame that B7 audio seems to have failed for a second time. Mind you Doctor Who in that medium had a chequered history until the mid 90's when Big Finish, BBCi and BBV came along. I still think B7 could work in this format. The Dalek Empire series in particular proved that a fast, exciting space opera audio can be a great success.

I d think however that any future audio series needs to be a continuation not a remake. Big Finish have produced several ranges without the Doctor, so perhaps the story of the Federation after Blake and Avon is the one that should be told?

Are they still online? Everytime I go to the site it says "Programme not available in your country".

I wonder what the odds are of talking them into doing an special. I could reprise my role - I can still grunt as well as I did then and I haven't really aged at all - still virile as ever,

There was a B7 Audio's presentation on the second day (16th Feb 2008) of this years Gallifrey Convention in the USA. There's some more info here. Basically more audios are planned (fine, I'd like that), some 'prequels' about certain characters (maybe fine) and possibly a remake on TV (maybe no!).
