It's like the British version of Hercules and Xena.

It was ok. I'll watch it - not really wanting to get it on DVD or anything like that.

I hope there is a second season. It is not brilliant and I don't hate it, so none of the poll options fit. I just think it is oddly enjoyable.

Yes, I can go along with that.

Of course, it's very much the product of its time, the portrayal of the Sheriff is very much a micky take of Tony Blair, just as Servalan was Maggie T!

Just watched the Kevin Costner Robin Hood movie for the first time in years today and it is way better than this new offering from the BBC. Main reason: ALAN RICKMAN - he is simply brilliant as Nottingham. Get past Kevin's American accent and this is one fun, fun, fun, movie.

I forgot to mention Sean Connery showing up as Richard the Lionheart at the end. The audience at the cinema I saw this in in Oxford, when I lived there many moons ago, cheering when SC showed up. Not too mention Bryan Adams' song - a good yarn this film.

That song was at number one forvever

Rather embarassingly, I was one of those people that bought it!

For years that was one of my favorite movies - in a sort of sappy, crush on Kevin Costner, sort of way. Oh and that song...

This is an example of why I'm glad I've grown up a little - Old Kevin don't do much for me anymore.

Also like Alan Rickman - he was brilliant.
