And yes, I have read Darrow`s "Man Of Iron" script and honestly it was... ridiculous. That`s the best word for it. For crying out loud, Avon "Strangles a robot to death!" `Nufff said.

Avon strangles a robot to death
I have to re read that script
Could rename it 'Avon Chokes DATA' as a B7 Star Trek cross over story
Of course the Trekkies would be p*** 'rude word'

And I'm sure the success of audio Doctor Who contributed to the decision to bring it back - things like Death Comes To Time and the new Shada showed there was still an interest in the show.

And once a new audience hears the audio, they'll go and see how good the original was!

I like DATA too and Spot Consider myself a Brent Spiner fan
It is just that Avon was choking a robot in the 'Ironman' script.
I thought about DATA and the crossover story.
Of course since DATA is one of the good guys
he would have been reprogrammed by a mad federation scientist
then restored by Avon
after the choking
