Now we've fixed the date, how about the venue? Given that the vote stands at 9 - 3 to Brum, I suggest the Old Joint Stock in Brum, where we met last January. |

Given Franky and Vero are hopeing to make this a regular revisit - maybe next time it could be held in liverpool given the added interest shown from this quater! ( I not even added a tick either for given I'm their hosts for the duration)
Alteratively, for those that chose liverpool, but cant attend the brum gathering, given Franky & vero have extended their visit - if you'd like a mini forum gathering in liverpool before the main Brum meeting on the saturday. well franky & Vero are gonna be here all week 15th jan - 22nd jan, naturally either 19th,20th or 21st will be out of the question depending on which date we start off for the main Brum gathering If anyone has any dates in mind during the week for the mini-gathering let us know _________________ Wisdom must be gathered, it can not be given

I didn't go but if you are recommending it I suspect it has real ale so good for me. As it happens, Shrewsbury are home to Rochdale on the Friday night, so I'll probably stay in Shrewsbury that night and thus have an easy journey to Brum on Saturday morning. _________________ --

Yes, it does have real ale and is in the current (2007!) Good Beer Guide. That was why I recommended it last year, and everyone liked it.
So are we agreed on the Old Joint Stock as the venue? |

This time I should like to make the venue, after missing Bristol due to work. Can I meet you Rich? or are you travelling by train? _________________ Ramses niblick the 3rd kerplunk kerplunk whoops there goes my thribble
