Hold on -EVERY story is not going to feature a villain from the past -we`ve had our quota already this season , and it was that sort of thing that the JNT era was critiscised for !

Well we had Daleks and Autons this year and only the Cybermen so far this year...though at the moment Doomsday seems to be rumoured to feature everyone from Davros to the City Administrator of the Sensorites!!

All the same, Sutekh is one of those characters you could bring back without having to explain much - basically he's your traditional psychotic god-like entity.

Funnily enough I remember watching Arc of Infinity when I was a kid and though I wasn't aware of the backstory from the other Time Lord stories, I understood that Omega was a powerful creature that wanted to be able to exist in our world but couldn't. I remember feeling quite sorry for him. Same with the Gaurdians - I understood the Black one was out to get the Doctor through Turlough and the White was his 'opposite' without having to see Key To Time.

And as for the much maligned Ressurection of the Daleks - face it people, kids like seeing evil aliens shooting everyone in sight for 90 minutes!! It might ba a mess story wise, but for a 9 year of the early 80's it was the K9' bollocks!!

So anyway I genuinely don't think continuity is a big problem for kids, they focus on the key principles of the story.

I would like it if they left it open, with maybe a slight hint that it could be. Not explicitly state that it's Sutekh but make us wonder

Yes, that would be interesting.

Well let's face it, it's the same voice, in the same style. Unless Gabriel Woolf has a very limited range, the hint is already there!
