I went for the indeterminate "give him time" answer. I think he did a good job with last season despite some faults. I just hope Tennant gets better.

Very mixed feelings about last series, but a lot of that was to do with Ecclestone! Expecting to enjoy it a lot more now.

ive gone for give him time....but having thought about it, how much time does the man need????? he is ok but seems to base his stories on humour and not on what the main focus of the program should be..the doctor and his compainion zooming around in the TARDIS -ACTUALLY LEAVING EARTH chasing cool badly dressed monsters around a quarry give me that and i will be happy

i'm going for a no.

we don't need a bisexual doctor who speeches about love at the end of every episode. We don't want every single story to revolve around the same tiny blue planet. We don't need Dr. Who to be a soap in which the characters lives are far more important than the story.

get him out!

I won't make a decision until the end of the series. Or at least until after the Cybermen have been on. If the script for them makes up for the horrid new look (um..as oppossed to the horrid old look ) I'll support him.

& I still say that the family viewing factor is playing a role in scripts, because his previous work is, well, fantastic

Much as some of his style does rankle with me a bit , I cant see any one else being able or likely to be handed the Producer role by he BBC - he`s made it his own and very succesful and has probably got the job for as long as he wants now !

Hell freezes over as....

I agree with BC, it's pretty much Davies baby. It wouldn't be back at all if it were not for his enormous success. & Whether you like the series or not, it's success can only be a good thing in terms of classic dvd releases. The more interest in the series, the more they will want to capitalise on it by releasing Trial of a Timelord on dvd...
