[b]"YES!" - when I went in my local "WHSMITH'S" it had already sold out of copies. So, I got it from "MUSIC ZONE" (14.97) and, "WOOLWORTHS" had hardly any copies left either - so, it's definitely in demand in my area!!! Great to watch it again after many years.[b]

I love Genesis because it introduces my favourite bad guy and re-invents the Daleks (which , let's face it, by the time of Planet of the Daleks was somethingthat badly needed doing)
Michael Wisher is excellent but I do prefer the Terry Molloy Davros. Molloy gave him a streak of sadistic black humour that made him seem even scarier.

I like all the season 12 stories, partly 'cos the TARDIS team of Tom, Sarah and Harry is such a winning one. Eventhough the Doctor picks on Harry a bit, you can tell he's quite fond of him.

The problem with Masterplan is that it starts running out of steam at the end of episode 6. I don't like the introduction of the Meddling Monk by Dennis Spooner later in the story either that much. However the first six episodes of masterplan are wounderful. Genesis is excellent. I love all the 'endless corridor shots'

I agree with Picard. All the Monk and Egypt stuff detract from the story. Its like they thought 'We've still got six episodes to fill, lets do the Chaseall over again'

A shame, because the first half of the story is blinding. What a shame it wasn't a seven parter!
