For general Sci-fi fans this is an interesting episode because Richard Franklyn (Capt Yates from Dr Who) & Cy Grant (Lt Green from Captain Scarlet).

I think Tarrant was a Terry Nation-favourite name.

And played an equally treacherous role in Revenge of the Cybermen.

A very nasty Servalan in this episode.
I sometimes wonder if Avon should have left her with the Sarrans.

I thought this was a really great episode. I loved how avon was portrayed - still with enough conscience to ask after blake and jenna, but wily enough to see through servalan. the interactions between servalan/avon and avon/dayna are suitably sexy, with intelligent dialogue, as was the subtle bitchfest between dayna and servalan, full of double-meaning and half-hidden slights.

I wish the dayna character had continued to be developed as strongly as this in subsequent episodes. she seemed to take something of a backseat after "powerplay".

Yes Smiley I love this one too. It was the first episode of B7 I ever saw!

Agree with you about the Servalan/Dayna bitchfest, it's brilliantly scripted and acted. I suspect that that scene may have been the work of Boucher rather than Nation, as he always had a knack for that kind of double edged dialogue.

There is a TARRANT playing foot-ball in Aust, (AFL). He played for the MIGHTTY MAGPIES, Collingwood but his love of PARTYING led him to be Traded to Freemantle. I tried to get my friends, such as they are, to call him DEL but it didn't stick. I'm the only person I know that B7 even Exists, let alone show interest in it. Ooops, not quite true, my G-friend has but wont let me watch it while she's in the house.....and to think I once thought she was the Perfect Woman. tish
