Mission to Destiny is also one of my favorites. I love murder mysterys especially Agatha christie. What I noticed is that Cally is told to get a torch for the storage room. She walks down the corridor, no torch but she still has the power pack from her gun. She gets to the storage room shines the torch, even though the room is well lit. After the body falls she goes back to the communications room this time the torch is on her body. I only noticed it because I love cally's walk, yes thats right, her walk.

Yes, Mission to Destiny was a fave of mine too. Can still remember being surprised at the revelation that the numbers were letters at the end. OK, I was very young at the time. Also think it's funny how they get everyone together to explain who the murderer is (very Agatha Christie) and are so intent on explaining everything slowly that they give the baddie time to pull a gun on them.

A well written, fairly decent, whodunnit episode.Yet for some reason I just can't get into it.I really didn't care who killed whom, why,or where the Ortega crew was going. It might have appealed to me more if the B7 crew had a better reason for boarding and helping the Ortega crew.Maybe if the fungal disease was created by the Federation or if the planet Destiny was somehow important. The dialogue was good enough, although the Ortega crew didn't have enough lines to give them any depth, which is probably why I didn't give a damn about any of them.It was nice seeing Avon sleuthing his way to the truth, but I really don't see why he would even bother.Staying unarmed aboard a ship with one or more murderers simply because 'I don't like an unsolved mystery',seems a bit out of character for him.

Things that bothered me:
Blake choosing Cally and not Gan or Villa to board the Ortega.

Blake leaving Avon and Cally on the Ortega (and with no weapons).Seems strange to leave your smartist crewman and only communications specialist on a potentially dangerous ship.

Blake sabotaging the Ortega, destroying the unknown ship.Didn't even flinch.

But you know the outcome the second time around , anyway Avon`s `big girls blouse` fight with Sara is worth the admission fee alone !

I still like this alot but it does take away alot of the impact from the first viewing, but still one of my favourite episodes. It kind of reminds me of The Robots of Death from Doctor Who where everybody is suspicious of each other in the tight confines of ship/ sand miner with no escape

YES - the storylines are very similar - plus, "ROBOTS OF DEATH" having so, many cast members that ended up in, "B7"!!!

Just watched this episode.

I agree with Thunda's comments on what bothered him, especially why Blake sabotaged the ship, without telling anyone about it. I thought Blake cared about life?

A nice script but possibly the dullest design in the whole series. Models, sets, costumes, props - all show a complete lack of imagination. The spaceship corridors and Sara's gun are particullarly dreadful.
