I dont think it was ever suppost to be side-splittingly funny. Just people amusing themselves by doing silly quotes. You should have a go yourself, it really is quite fun.

No-one seems to have mentioned that play.com have the season 2 DVDs on pre-order with a release date of Oct 4th. (Or perhaps everyone just assumes that they will be at least a year late.)

Of course, if it should be released then, it will be just in time to take along to Cult-TV. (Steve, just spotted your posting the date a while ago in some other thread. So much to read, so little time.)

Does anyone know what this is about?

I saw it over at Outpost Gallifrey, they are releasing ("eventually!", I hear you all cry!) two versions of the series 2 box set.

One standard and a 'Collectors Edition', which would be fine if there were more features on it, Kevin Davies documentary for a start!

but it looks like they are saying that only the packaging will be different.

I can't see different packaging being worth 12, it also seems pointless as it won't go with the series 1 set!

Any more info anyone?

Andy

This is interesting. I'll wait to see what is special about the packaging before I decide. Also, as I have the season one set, I'd quite like packaging that matched it so it looks good on the shelf next to it.

Any news if Kevins excellent documentaries are going to be included on any of the future sets.

Does anyone know why Kevin wasn't allowed to use the Paul Darrow BBC Video interview that exists - would it have needed Pauls consent?

Are there any extras at all on season two?

When the DVDs were being made, it got a bit political, so I'm not certain why the PD BBC Interview wasn't used other than perhaps one of the parties involved wouldn't allow it.

As to the documentries being used on future sets, we're still waiting details on that ourselves. At cult TV last year, we were told that they had finished the DVDs for season 1 and 2 and they were working on 3 and 4, so it doesn't sound like they would be on the second season.

Yes, I wondered that? Why isn't it silver like Series One? I remember that looking pinky when the first images of it were shown but it seems every company who are going to distribute Series Two on the web have it this salmony pink. Strange.

I've got everything crossed that they will be on the season 3 & 4 boxsets.

I'd like to think it was gold and then it could be silver for S3 and gold for S4.

Unfortunately it's leaning towards the salmony pink!!!

Hopefully it's just a mock up.
