In the other fandoms I'm involved with there are mailing lists where writers can post their fics for readers directly, in addition to submitting them to archives and/or having them on personal web pages. Though I've looked, I haven't found a B7 fic mailing list. Is there one? If not, how do you B7 writers get your stories out to the public?

Post them in the PG Fan Fiction part. Name it what you want and go for it!

There are mailing lists that welcome fan fiction. Even those such as Freedom City that allow adult and slash fan fiction, a lot of PG fan fiction is also posted and it is good because you get quick feedback. Details here:

One of these days I might get around to posting my fan fic somewhere (possibly, Hermit) when I get the time to do so.

I'd actually like to finish the second and third episodes of my PGP (which is planned as two full seasons so far with about half of a seventh) before posting anything, although those who've read the first episode (but not the final draft) have been quite enthusiastic.

My main problems are finding the time to actually do the writing, and actually concentrate on one episode at a time. I have a tendency to write the start, skip to the ending and fill in the blanks later. My current policy of if I have an idea for a scene I just write it, not caring which particular episode it comes from, also doesn't help either. It is useful when laying out the various strands through the seasons.

I'll be looking forward to seeing both Valentines and Janov's fiction.
They are both excellent writers.
I've wriiten a few stories purely for my own amusement, (it gives me a break from studying so hard).

One of the best online collections of fan fiction is on the Hermit board:

So, far I've found it easier to e-mail my stories direct to certain other members on this board than post it to a site. Especially, with not having my own PC and, limited time to what I can do when online via, my local library.

So, would send my stories to any member on here via, e-mail IF they want to read my stuff - at them moment - just PM me about it - OK???

I think that when you have a small group of fellow fans who all like to write it's nice to send your own stories off for them to read....it's a community feel.
