It's not B7, but I've just finished a scratchbuild of the Zero X spaceship from the first Thunderbirds film.

Thanks I am now starting a B7 project. Can't make any claims to have created anything so far. Have obtained these two old climbing helmets and two resin faceplates (originals were fibreglass but these look fine). Lots of work lies ahead.

I have opened up the eye and mouth holes by perforating around them with a drill, hacking them out and sanding the resulting untidy mess!

Thanks. Yep, the helmet's main stumbling block is the band, at the moment, I'm not sure how I'm going to do it! Anyways, I have bolted the faceplates to the helmets.

I have used milliput to fill the gaps created by me cutting bits out. More importantly, I have fitted the tea strainers!

They are indeed, as were, I believe, the originals. Fond of their tea, your average Federation trooper.

You'll have plenty of time, I'm still pondering on how I'm going to make the bands!

Whilst I'm working on a way of making the bands for the helmet, I've made a quick Doctor Who prop. This one being a Timelord weapon from the 5th Doctor story 'Arc of Infinity'.

Anyways, forgetting Timelord ordnance for a moment, I have sprayed the helmets matt black.
