I watched a bit of the 'Tomorrow's Worlds: The Unearthly History Of Science Fiction' programme with Dominic Sandbrook on BBC2 last night. It was a bit critical of Star Trek, describing it as little more than a futuristic crusade of 60's values. Having just watched the episode 'Space Seed' where an old spacecraft from earth is found, I felt that Star Trek deserved at least a more balanced view considering its good drama!
