Doctor Who is not over for the year! BBC Radio 3 broadcast the 'Doctor Who Prom' today at 11am.

Presented by Freema, Catherine Tate also took part. It included, at about 40mins, a mini-adventure (a pantomime really) 'the music of the spheres' with David Tennant and, at about 50mins, an interesting interval talk 'Lets do the time-warp again' by Justina Robson (the BBC3 Iplayer seems to loose a little of it between parts 1 and 2 unfortunately).

BBC1 are showing an hour of the concert at 13.50 today and I'm interested to see what parts of the concert they've chosen. I don't know if it will be included but, about ten minutes before the end when it was on Radio 3, there was quite an emotional moment with Freema Agyeman. Refering to appearing on Doctor Who she said (paraphrasing) "it would be good to go back in time with the TARDIS and do it all again, but no that little blue box has other adventures to make'.

I caught about the last 20-30 minutes - really enjoyed it - the music that played when Rose was transferred to the parallel universe before the void was sealed brought a tear my eye, or was that just tiredness and excess alcohol from the night before...

Enjoyed the Murray Gold music in the Doctor Who Prom 2010 last night on Radio 3, the second Doctor Who Prom. Karen Gillan did really well, and I liked her style when she did her own cheer after announcing "I'm Karen Gillan and I played Amy Pond in Doctor Who ". She tried again after the interval and got a cheer! On BBC 3 next month.

The highlight of the third Doctor Who Prom (2013) has got to be Carole Ann Ford saying a few words. Did anyone else enjoy it?

I sure did. I've met Carole Ann Ford at a convention and she is just brilliant.

I loved it when she said "who would have thought that this celebration would be happening fifty years on. It is amazing, isn't it?" Yes it is!
