Sorry but even if I did have a spare £2k sat around, I wouldn't spend it on that!! May look nice, but why!! I'd rather give the money to orphans or something.

That's a lot of money for a replica, even if it is made by a well-known name in the model business... Now if it was the actual original model used in the series, on the other hand...
Then again, for a lot less dosh you can buy the DVDs and see it in action! _________________

Perfectly reasonable asking price...if it's a life-size model.

Hi, Meegat, actually, I haven't been on here for years. I was just passing through yesterday.
I forgot they have cast emoticons here. Cool. _________________ You are free...to do as we tell you |

That's a standard price for that sort of thing. One of the guys at work builds full size Daleks and he said they start from a Grand upwards.
You want to have a look at the prices charged on ebay for poor builds of off the shelf model kits. Even wrecked models can go for a premium, especially if they're old Frog or Aurora kits that are now totally unobtainable.
If I had a spare £2k (ie lottery win), I'd buy it myself. I'd love a copy of the big studio model. _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

Yikes, has it been that long?
Sorry.
What can I say, I got a bit distracted by my new yoyo.
I don't think that model's going to sell though. I can think of a ton of things I'd spend two grand on if I had it before I bought a Liberator paperweight.
Like a gold-plated yoyo... _________________ You are free...to do as we tell you |

I've one of Kev's System chase ships (he built three) and it has pride of place in the living room.
I'd love a studio scale Scorpio! _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |
