Hi I'm new to this forum but am reviewing B7 from DVD. I could not find a screencap gallery so I made a view myself. The costumes in this show looked amazing, I always liked those anoraks. Maybe some of you made one him/herself? My fav character was Travis 1 but it seems I'm in a minority than! I read that B7 was supposed to be Robin Hood in space. You can tell by the characters: Interestingly in the latest RH version on the BBC we see a Guy of Gisborne who could have been Travis' son. If Servalan was the Sheriff of Nottingham she could be the mother Could there have been a lovechild for S and T? Some idea for a fanfic maybe?

Hia Tim Squad

Welcome to the forum Yes Smiley Hope you enjoy posting

You mentioned not being able to find Screengrabs - do you mean like these here

http://www.framecaplib.com/b7lib.htm

Just click on the thumbnails for each series/episode

I use to own 15 genuine B7 costumes, alas, I now only have the one costume left in my collection. I've a few props and a studio scale model of Orac Who knows, maybe a Fed Trooper might make an appearance

NB: thats KevinD by the way, our resident model maker extraordinar Yes Smiley

Hi Tim Squad.

Nice to have you on board.

I enjoyed looking at your screen grabs, particularly the one of Avon with what looks like an intergalactic mini pizza cutter wheel.

Hi Tim Squad, and welcome to the forum! Great username

I was thinking that "pizza cutter" pic was Avon auditioning for the role of the dentist in Marathon Man

Hi Zen Thanks for the screencap link, I see you call them 'grabs' Wow 15 original costumes, you got that from an auction? I was actually wandering if B7 fans recreated costumes themselves, I've seen pics of Xena fans having done that. And ofcourse 'trekkies' but some of the B7 costumes could be worn in 'normal' life like that anorak.

Hi Anna,
The tool Avon is holding reminded me of a tracing wheel, a tool used in the fashion industry.

Oh and here another pic with Avon I guess the've just downloaded Bruce Springsteens new 'album' because it's not an album but a file these days..! Interesting that they say that all files are on 'microtape' Well it's 1970s future I guess

On this pic one can see that the Mutoid is actually taller than Travis!

This is a cap from the blooper I saw on YouTube

If you look closely you can see what I think is/was? called 'matpainting' in film, A fake background is added

A view at the spaceship I wondered what time they keep when Travis is travelling to Centero 2 times but aboard the spaceship they keep GMT? T arrives at 18.23 to have dinner with Servalan? Or do the Brits eat at 20.00? Well silly questions sorry Avon if you can hear me He might say these qeustions are irrelevant?

Travis doesn't believe in plastic surgery!

On another forum I'm at pics like these are very popular.. Don't know why..

When I watched B7 I taped a view eps, thats why I sometimes can still cite whole scenes like the scene in Duel Have you thought of another plan... It was funny to see the text under the screenscaps on that other site, cause I knew what the text would be before i saw it! To listen to those tapes was also a way to learn english and pronounciation and learning great quotes ofcourse!

And as for Sinofar in "that dress" one can only guess the heating in the B7 studio was off that day!!

Hi I made some new caps from Avalon,

From internet info I gather Cally was popular among male viewers,

Smile..

Avons smile reminds me of the Dutch Prince Claus..

Who's the ugly mutoid/extra? Well she was lucky enough to be in a scene with Stephen Greif!

That test person doesn't look like he was struggling, was he sedated?

I always thought that Glynis Barber sounded rather p*** in this scene..

If there are any screencap requests from this ep let me know.

I gather that 'magic'ball must have been blue..

I find those extra's in the background rather intrigueing, in another scene they seem to study the script?

Did you know Travis' costume was made in a S & M store?

Truth or rumour about Travis's costume? If it was cheaper to buy from an S and M shop I'm sure that's where they would have gone.

And doesn't Servalan look so calm and young in that last photo? A far cry from the later series' version. But always fabulous.

On the above link posted by Zen I went to the page 'fashion show' and you could read this when you mouse over the travis pic:

Fashion Notes: (Barbara Lane) 'There was also Stephen Grief, who I took to Harcore Leather in the King's Road, to get his black suit made, because we couldn't find anyone who could work as well with leather as these guys. It was the first time in my life I've ever seen weights with things and clips on the ends, clipping on to your nipples, masks with zips over the mouths; I was quite horrified. But they were good at making these leather suits, so that was where Stephen's leather costume came from.

(when you click on the pic and go to 'source' you can read the HTML of said pic with the notes)
