I've just watched the first episode of this on the Channel 4 On Demand site ( http://www.channel4.com/programmes/cold-lazarus/4od )... Seems quite good so far and a bit disturbing in typical Dennis Potter style.

One thing I noticed was that the costume and set design felt very B7... Or a mixture of B7 and Terry Gilliam's Brazil...

I recorded that on DVDr when it was on a few years ago. I love it. Very B7 and totalitarian society. I hope they bring out an official box set with Dennis Potters prequel Karoake as well.

The prequel "Karaoke" is also available on the Channel 4 On Demand site -
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/karaoke/4od#series-1

I think I enjoyed Karaoke more than Cold Lazarus but they were both very good

Hmm, IS Karaoke a "prequel" i.e., set before Cold Lazarus but was broadcast later? Or was it actually broadcast first?

According to wikipedia, "It [Cold Lazarus] forms the second half of a pair with the television serial Karaoke. The two serials were filmed as a single production by the same team [...] The plays were unique in being co-productions between the BBC and Channel 4, something Potter had expressly requested before his death. The show was first aired on Channel 4 in 1996 on Sunday evenings, with a repeat on BBC1 the following day."

And there is a box set apparently - I found it on Amazon:

Thanks for that, I hadn't looked recently. Last time I had it wasn't out. I will be ordering it.
