Amen, brother.

They showed aerial shots of some of the voting queues on British TV earlier on November 4th your time. Had to be aerial, because ground shots could not have captured their scale. That brought a tear to my eye.

Well done, that's the end of the beginning, now he just has to be effective in office. It felt like a new dawn when Tony Blair was elected in 1997 after all those years of conservative rule.

I'm sure Obama will do and say many things over the next 4 years that will p*** me off but, for now, we celebrate.

Obama already has a congress(especially the senate) that will help him work toward the change that We The People mandated last night. He will not be the next Bill Clinton.

McCain's acknowledgment of the result brought a tear to my eye, saying what an honour it had been. Two gentlemen fought this election.
