So, who's bought a copy of PoTC: At Worlds End dvd?

We haven't been able to afford it yet - it's 14.95, so we're waiting for the price to drop a bit, maybe to about 10.00.

It's SOOOOOOO annoying as I'm longing to see it again and all of the copies in the local library are out on loan and reserved for the next millennia!

Arggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

I must admit I liked the first one the best, seemed to have a more interesting script with plenty of banter.

Joshua may find this in his stocking, I dont think the price will go down this side of Christmas though

TJ Avon

P.S If I found somewhere full of Avons, I would call it heaven

I can't afford it yet either but it'll probably be a pressie to beat the January blues. Can't decide which is best yet but probably be the first one. it got the rest of my family into JD fans and it finally gave him a role he deserved and recognition he should have had years ago.

Can't wait for Sweeney Todd in the new year. can't think of anything more fabulous then Johnny, Helena B and Alan Rickman alll playing baddies at the same time

The only thing it got him was the freedom to make real movies. He did this "fluff" so that he could make interesting stuff like The Rum Diary (2008/9/10/11)

Don't be such a party pooper Libs ok its not the most *serious* role in the world but they are fantastic entertainment. and even if thats the only reason he did it that doesn't detract from the films.
Will you be going to see ST or is the idea of an all singing demon barber too much to take

Tracey we managed to get Pirates 3 the 2 disk spec ed for 11 odd in sainsbugs today as it was on offer reduced from 14.75. Don't know how long they will be doing it for tho.

My friend Dan worships Tim Burton so it's a dead cert that I'll see ST.

I have nothing against Pirates, in fact I owe them alot. It's just that from the trailer for the third one it looked like "Harrison Ford's Greatest Hits" in that most of the setpieces appeared lifted from his career.

However, no Pirates, no chance for Bruce Robinson to direct again. So I'm happy

I would have voted all 3 if I could have
I LOVE JOHNNY so difficult to be impartial here
Very reasonably priced last I saw on TV ads
Disney usually has pre Christmas sale on vids

My favourite Johnny Depp movie is 'Sleepy Hollow'
Would love to see him in a remake of 'Gaslight'

I did see the 9th Gate and was disappointed...

I never saw the Stephen King movie Johnnie did about a writer
who actually is the killer or some such story line.
My daughter told me she was at a loss to explain it's lack of appeal
but just felt it was missing something
