In Doctor Who Confidential, Noel said that the scene with him drivin of at the end was his last ever scene, so I think Mickey has gone now.

He has grown in me a lot this year. Whereas in seasion 1 he was just a whipping boy for the grinning git, in this series he's become more of a character in his own right and the 10th Doctor has been more willing to treat him with some respect. There has been a lot more range for the character from action scenes to the rather nice scene with his gran.

Anyway, of course he'll live on...in the many, many Jake/Mickey slas stories that are bound to be written!!

I think actually he said that it was his last scene for the episode. It's just that something seems out of place maybe it's cos it's becoming a soap I think that Mickey'll be back saying hello princess or something.

Well I suppose it depends what happens when the Cybermen return at the end of the series.

The Dr seemened very certain that HE couldn't come back. so the only way I see micky coming back, is if the cybermen or time lords/magicians of the universe micky is in or the famous "tourchwood" thread whatever, find a way to cross over.

Micky was just getting interesting and they got rid of him what will they do next?

He can easily be brought back if a story warrants it. This is Doctor Who after all.

Hey - please don't confuse Mickey Smith (the character) with Noel Clarke (the actor).

Noel Clarke was awarded the 2003 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Most Promising Newcomer of 2002.

He has written and starred in a film this year which had great reviews - Kidulthood.

He was also in the updated 'Auf Wiedersehen, Pet' as Gary Holton's character's son.

I don't think he would need to go cap in hand to RTD - unless Noel wanted the work.
