I haven't actually bought season two DVD yet.
As soon as I have it I shall launch into this discussion. It'll be nice to see the whole Star One fiasco in DVD quality!!! |

Finally got mine.
Only got to Shadow so far, but i'm happy so far. And the commentary was brilliant! 10 times better than the other commentaries on the Series 1 disks! David Maloney was really good at getting people talking, Jan was good and it was good to have Chris there, even if he did nothing but say how good his writing skills were
Looking forward to watching the rest. |

Onto the second commentary with Brian Croucher and the lot. A good commentary also, much better than expected. The only annoying thing was they kept interupting each other, and Jan Chappell was going to tell a story which sounded really interesting but David Maloney interupted her and it never got told |

I've watched all the extras, apart from the Noel Edmonds bit, mainly as I can't stand the bearded tosser. I've yet to watch any episodes.
What I did find interesting was that Matt Irvine gave credit to most of the guys who did the model FX work - except Martin Bower. Apparently, the pair had some major fall out at some stage and now detest each other.
Bower has somewhat of a bad reputation amongst model builders in the film industry, mainly for undercutting them and stealing contracts. And I got that from a mate in the industry, who also mentioned that someone had half joked about having a contract put out on Bower! _________________ "Now then, Butch Harry, tell us about Fulham..." |

On the CB they called him P.F.F.
I asked someone why, and lo and behold, his secret identity was revealed! |

Just got round to watching the extras on Season 2. I really like the interview with June Hudson - especially amusing to find that the Killer mitchelin men were in fact...mitchelin men! |

Hello
Disappointed to see very little discussion of the new DVD's here. Anyway, just wondered if anyone had discovered any of the easter eggs?

the audio commentary on trial was unintentionally funny in places. there's a part where jan tries to make a point about the treatment of women in the series. she's drowned out by CB and DM until BC tells them all to shut up as it's his big scene.
a bit later DM and JC start squabbling again over the casting of BC.
is it true that Jan refused to film at nuclear stations? classy lady. |
