   Avon and Cally investigate a murder on a space cruiser the crew encounters. Their captain, Kendall, explains their urgent need to take a neutrotope back to their home planet to prevent economic disaster regarding the planet's agriculture. He agrees to Blake's offer of help and the Liberator sets off en-route for Destiny. Meanwhile Avon deciphers an apparently coded message, leading him to the killer on board. Blake discovers he was given an empty container and turns back just in time to blow up a ship that arrives to rendezvous with the murderer on board ... |
