   After Orac's prediction of the Liberator being destroyed, Avon studies the star system in the area of the explosion. He pinpoints the exact position and advises the crew not to travel near this sector, thus avoiding the prediction coming true. Soon after, the Liberator comes under attack from unknown craft which due to its technological advantage, knocks out the weapon system on the Liberator and takes over control of the computers. The Liberator is then taken to a space complex, the crew powerless to stop it despite attempts at regaining computer control.
