Series One
Space Commander Travis. That is who this man is, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. And he never lets us forget it. Travis comes in one outfit only for Series One, and this is it. But if we had to choose just one costume for him, this would indeed be it! That sculpted leather is just divine! I bet it smelled good, too! Seen in Seek-Locate-Destroy, Duel, Project Avalon, Deliverance and Orac. Fashion Notes: (Barbara Lane) 'There was also Stephen Grief, who I took to Harcore Leather in the King's Road, to get his black suit made, because we couldn't find anyone who could work as well with leather as these guys. It was the first time in my life I've ever seen weights with things and clips on the ends, clipping on to your nipples, masks with zips over the mouths; I was quite horrified. But they were good at making these leather suits, so that was where Stephen's leather costume came from'.
The only slight deviation for Travis is here, in Project Avalon, where he throws a black fur coat over his leathers. Looks good on him!
